EASYPURGE APC is a concentrated chemical purging solution for fast, in-line cleaning of injection and extrusion molding machines. It is emission free, odorless, non-toxic and contains no solvents or abrasives, making it safe for machines, hot runner systems, and sensitive production environments.
Added together with the production material, it triggers a controlled reaction that temporarily increases melt flow (MFI). This helps release residues, pigments, and degraded material from the screw, barrel, and hot runner areas — so they can be purged out more effectively.
EasypurgeAPC is highly effective for color and resin changes across a wide range of thermoplastics, including: ABS, PA, PET, PS, PMMA, PC, SAN, PVC, EVA, PU, TR, PBT, PPO, PPS, PPA, PP, PE, and more.
Single-use sachets ensure clean handling and accurate dosing directly at the machine.
Key Benefits:
Easypurge APC behaves differently from conventional pellet purging compounds. Its formulation includes additives that significantly increase the MFI (Melt Flow Index). Other additives expand the volume of the molten mass, allowing the purge to reach negative-flow areas.
The formula also contains surfactants and emulsifiers that keep impurities and pigments in suspension. Finally, the virgin material that follows (with a much lower MFI) is responsible for ejecting the purging compound together with all impurities from the system.
